Isabelle is our newest and definitely the youngest Crew member. After getting to spend the older and end years with our old Italian Greyhound Dee Dee (RIP) we knew at some point we would like to bring another one into the family. Being a family of a lot of rescues naturally when we were finally ready we kept our eye out for Iggys that needed adopting but our area never had any. After more than a year of looking and careful consideration we decided getting a young one would allow us to experience life with her in all the life stages and so my wonderful husband bought me this adorable sweet girl . True to my form I fell in love with her instantly. The Crew has accepted her like we hoped and thought they would and have been a big help with the potty training and car rides.
She is so full of life, curiosity, character, cuteness, and she has the classic Iggy want to be close to her people with cuddling being a daily requirement. Don't get me wrong she is tons of Trouble too, she puts everything in her mouth which has already required multiple calls to the vet from a bee sting on the chin (ouch!) to a bacterial infection from something she ate (eeww). With her tactical advantage of being 10X faster than her humans and the entire Crew for that matter she has definitely kept us on the move and saying more "no's" on a daily than we ever thought possible. When she isn't playing she is a total cuddle muffin, she loves to snuggle up to our necks and most naps are either on us, next to us, or with another pack member. I hope you enjoy watching her grow, I know we will!
